Wyclef Jean and MC Jin have reunited for a brand new collaboration, “Stop the Hatred.”
The track comments on the solidarity between Black and Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) allyship in the midst of the #StopAsianHateMovement. Its accompanying music video, directed by award-winning Vietnamese-American director Bao Nguyen, was created in partnership with The Asian American Foundation (TAAF). Shot in the heart of New York City’s Chinatown — where a majority of the anti-Asian crimes have been caught — the visual brings awareness to financial and educational resources available to AAPI families.
